drive from Siliguri-Phuentsholling is in India and Bhutan border-The Indian side is called Jaigaon and the Bhutanese side is
called Phuentsholling-Foreigners need to have Bhutan Visa clearance documents if they want to visit the rest of Bhutan -They
should carry passport size photos and passport along with visa clearance documents-Foreigners without proper documents won t be
allowed in Bhutan-Indian Nationals don’t require visa or passport to visit rest of Bhutan but any identity document like election
commission I.D card is required-Permit is not required for visiting Phuentsholling only but other parts of Bhutan-Check into the
hotel- In the evening one can go about in auto rickshaw exploring the place -Overnight stay in Phuenstholling.
Day 2
Transfer to Thimpu after Permit formalities
Morning breakfast-Passing through the beautiful landscape we proceed to Thimphu(2320 metres/7656 feet)-Thimphu is 172 kilometres
and 7 hours drive from Phuentsholling-Thimphu ,the capital of Bhutan is beautiful valley with a mixture of modern facilities and
culture-Thimphu Valley has cradled its culture and tradition in a sustainable manner since 1216-The valley is surrounded by hills
and provides outstanding view-Adventure sports like hiking,trekking,river rafting and wildlife excursion is available here-One can
get to see colorful festivals and dance celebrated in the dzongs of Thimphu on a festival days-Don’t forget to taste the butter
tea-Check into Hotel-Overnight stay in a hotel in Thimphu.
Day 3
Thimpu sightseeing (Full day)
Early morning breakfast – Drive and visit the Memorial Chorten (Stupa) built in memory of the third King of Bhutan, Jigme Dorji
Wangchuk, who was called the Father of modern Bhutan - Next the National Library where ancient manuscripts are preserved, Wood
Craft and Painting School - The handicrafts Emporium which has beautiful and creative collection of textile arts, and indigenous
fibres-Future plans of becoming a center of textile learning - Trashichhoedzong is also called fortress of the glorious religio
-The dzong houses main secretariat building and is the throne of His Majesty, King Of Bhutan-During the summer months His
Holiness,Je Khenpo visits the dzong.-The car will be at your disposal – Other places to visit are National Zoo, National
Institute of Traditional medicine, Traditional Paper Factory(made from Daphne Plant)-Please note it is not possible to cover all
the sites mentioned above in a single day-Back to hotel. over night stay in thimphu.
Day 4
Thimphu to Dochula pass and transfer to Paro
Nearly 100 kilometers, nearly 3 ½ - 4 hours drive - After early breakfast, drive up to Dochu-la pass (3,088m/ 10,130 ft) to take
in the view and admire the chorten, mani wall, and prayer flags which decorate the highest point on the road - If skies are clea
, the following peaks can be seen from this pass Masagang (7158 meters), Tsendagang (6960 meters), Terigang (7060 meters),
Jejegangphugang (7158 meters), Kangphugang (7170 meters ), Zongphugang (7060 meters), etc - finally Gangkar puensum, the highest
peak in Bhutan at 7497 meters - Next drive to Paro visiting Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the country built in 1627 on
the way - Evening stroll around the area – Night stay at Paro.
Day 5
Departure – Transfer from Paro to Phuentsholling
Early morning breakfast - Transfer from Paro to Jaigaon / Phuentsholling - A drive of nearly 180 kilometers, a drive of
approximately 6 ½ - 7 hours - After breakfast transfer to Phuentsholing – On the way take a short stop at Chuzom, the confluence
of Paro and Thimphu rivers with three different style of stupas adorn this confluence - Drive further through Chapcha and later
take glimpse of famous Chukha Dam and the magnificent Vince waterfall before Gedu town - Arrive Phuenthsoling by evening and
check into the hotel – Evening free to stroll around the area - Night stay at hotel in Phuentsholing.
Day 6
Departure
Morning breakfast - After breakfast transfer to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) /

(Distance: 170 kms. / Driving Time: 5 hrs. / Altitude of Phuentsholing: 293 mts.).Over night stay at Phuenstholling.
Day 2
Phuentsholing – Paro
(Distance: 176 kms. / Driving Time: 5 hrs. / Altitude of Paro: 2280 mts. After breakfast complete the immigration formalities
(meanwhile visit Crocodile Park) and then after lunch transfer to Paro (7,483 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. Overnight stay at
Paro. Enroute visit Zangtho peleri gumba, kharbandi gumba, chukha dam (top view)
Day 3
Paro Sightseeing
After breakfast - we will have time for leisure till 11.30 a.m. then we will visit Kitchu Monastery, Rinpung Dzong, Nyamai Zam
Bridge and airport view point. Overnight stay in Paro Hotel or Full day optional activity for 8 hrs hiking to Tiger Nest
Monastery - entrance fees to pay directly at the counter.
Day 4
Day Trip Haa Valley And Chela La Pass
After break fast check out from hotel and visit Haa Valley and Chelala Pass and Over nigth stay at Paro.
Day 5
Paro To Punakha
After breakfast we will move to Punakha - Enroute we will visit Dochula Pass and will cover Chhimi Lhakhang and will reach to
Hotel. Lunch on own and then visit Punakha Dzong and Suspension Bridge. Overnight stay in Hotel
Day 6
Punakha To Thimphu
After breakfast we will move to Thimphu and visit Buddha Point + Takin Reserve Centre, + Changangkha Monastery + Standing Buddha
Point, Changlimthang Stadium and Archery Ground. Overnight stay in hotel
Day 7
Thimphu Sightseeing
After breakfast we will move to Thimphu and visit Buddha Point + Takin Reserve Centre, + Changangkha Monastery + Standing Buddha

Day 8
Thimpu To Phuentsoling

transfer to Phuentsholing. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.
Day 9
Phuentsholing – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport
(Distance: 170 kms. / Driving Time: 5 hrs. / Altitude of NJP/IXB: 89 mts.) After breakfast check out from the hotel and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
